The Clarksville Young Professionals (CYP) invites local businesses and organizations to form teams and register for the “Give a Kick” Kickball Tournament held at Civitan Park, 650 Bellamy Lane, on October 10 at 8:00 a.m.

Now in its fifth year, the friendly and fun event benefits the Montgomery County Imagination Library, an organization that mails free books each month to all registered children ages five and under. For more information about Imagination Library, visit www.GovernorsFoundation.org.

“The annual Kickball Tournament is a great way for young professionals to get together and network outside of the workplace, all while supporting a great cause and having a good time,” said Scott Dunaway, CYP Chairman.

Each team captain must be a CYP member and all teams will consist of 10-12 players with a minimum of four playing females. Cost is $250 per team with a registration deadline of October 2. All proceeds go to Imagination Library.

CYP was established to create a platform for area young professionals to build relationships, develop professionally, become politically and philanthropically active and contribute to the economic development and high quality of living in our community. Clarksville Young Professionals is dedicated to the advancement of our community through community service, professional development and networking opportunities for the emerging business and community leaders ages 21-45.
