CLARKSVILLE, TENN. – April 14, 2025 – The Clarksville-Montgomery County Industrial Development Board (IDB) is pleased to confirm that LG Electronics has submitted plans for the second phase of its warehouse expansion project in Clarksville. LG Electronics, a global leader in consumer electronics and home appliances, continues to demonstrate its long-term commitment to the region through significant investment and job creation.
The upcoming expansion includes the construction of a 560,000-square-foot warehouse facility, representing a $100 million investment, and the addition of approximately 80 new jobs. Completion of the new facility is anticipated in the third quarter of 2026.
“LG Electronics' expansion is a testament to Montgomery County’s strong business climate and the IDB’s ability to support sustainable growth,” said IDB Executive Director Josh Ward. “Over the past six years, LG has proven to be an outstanding industry partner, and this $100 million investment not only reinforces their long-term commitment to Clarksville but also highlights the strength of our local workforce and infrastructure.”
LG Electronics began operations in Clarksville in 2019 and currently employs approximately 740 people. Together with its suppliers, LX Pantos and Shinhung, the facility produces more than 6,000 washing machines and 1,000 dryers daily.
